AIKit solves this with a lightweight automation pipeline that aggregates performance data across every channel into a single D1 view, updated every 6 hours by cron-scheduled reports.

The pipeline runs entirely on infrastructure you already have: Cloudflare D1 for storage, Python scripts for transformation, and cron for scheduling. No third-party analytics platforms, no expensive SaaS subscriptions, no dedicated data pipeline team.

Each channel has an adapter script that normalizes its metrics into a standard schema: impressions, clicks, conversions, and attribution source. The aggregator runs as a Python script triggered by cron, and the results are written back to D1 for real-time querying via the EmDash admin dashboard.
Step 1: Define a Unified Metrics Schema
Before aggregating, you need a schema that works across channels. The key insight: don't try to make every metric perfectly equivalent. Instead, store channel-specific raw data alongside a computed normalized score that enables cross-channel comparison.

Step 2: Build Channel Adapters

- **Blog adapter**: Queries D1 `ec_posts` for views and reading time, cross-referencing with Cloudflare Web Analytics for impression data. Filters out internal traffic using known office IP ranges.
- **Social adapter**: Uses xurl API to pull engagement metrics per post (likes, reposts, replies, bookmark counts). Handles rate limiting by batching requests and spreading them across the 15-minute window.
- **Email adapter**: Integrates with himalaya or SendGrid API for open rates and click-through. Tracks which email campaigns link to which blog posts for attribution pathing.
Each adapter runs as an independent Python script, making it easy to add new channels. Adding LinkedIn analytics takes one new adapter file and one new cron entry.
Step 3: Cron-Scheduled Aggregation
A cron job runs the aggregator every 6 hours:
