Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-23
This policy covers the website ai-kit.net, which is run by AI Kit LLC ("we", "us"). It explains which personal information we gather through the site, why we gather it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request a Cloudflare Migration Audit, we receive your name and email address, plus anything optional you add: your website address, your current hosting provider, and a free-text note. We also record whether you ticked each consent box and the time of the request.
Information collected automatically
- Ad click identifiers. If you arrive from a Google ad, the link can carry a gclid (Google Click Identifier) and UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) campaign tags. We save these with your request so we can tell which ad brought it in.
- Google Ads tag and cookies. When we have it configured, pages on ai-kit.net load the Google Ads tag (gtag.js). It does not load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. The page address we report to Google leaves out anything after the path, such as query text. Google may set or read cookies through it to connect an ad click with later visits and with a submitted audit request. We do not pass your name, email, or other form details to Google, and we do not use Google's enhanced conversions. Google's own handling of that data is described in Google's advertising policy page. You can limit ad personalization in your Google account settings or block these cookies in your browser.
- Interaction events. While the Google tag is running, it also notes a few actions: a click on a marked button or link, the moment you first type in a form, and a form being sent. Each event carries only a fixed label for the button or form and the page path. It never includes what you type, your name, or your email.
- Google Analytics 4. If we turn it on, Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed and the interaction events above, through the same Google tag. Google signals are off and IP addresses are anonymized.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. If we turn it on, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page load speed. It sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites.
- How to opt out of all three. Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. When we see it, the Google Ads tag, Google Analytics 4, and Cloudflare Web Analytics are all left off the page.
- Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a script, is submitting it. Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser for that check.
- Abuse limits. To cap repeated submissions, we keep a one-way hash of your IP (Internet Protocol) address. That hash is used only for this limit and is removed during routine cleanup; the address itself is never stored.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your request, agree on the audit scope, and deliver the work. Click identifiers help us measure which ads are worth paying for. If you ticked the optional marketing box, we may also send you occasional emails about related services; each one has a way to opt out.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Advertising and your opt-out choices
When the Google Ads tag runs, Google receives details about your visit, such as the page address, the ad click identifier, and the fact that a request was sent. Google uses those details to report ad results to us, and it may also use them under its own terms. Under some state privacy laws, that transfer can count as "sharing" personal information for advertising.
You can stop it in any of these ways:
- Turn on GPC (Global Privacy Control) in your browser or with an extension. Our server checks for that signal on every page request, and the page script checks again in your browser. When either sees it, none of the measurement scripts load: no Google Ads tag, no Google Analytics, and no Cloudflare Web Analytics. We treat the signal as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising.
- Block third-party cookies or scripts from Google in your browser settings.
- Email tony@ai-kit.net with the subject "Opt out" and we will stop using your click details for ad measurement.
The site owner reads and acts on every email or advertising opt-out request sent to tony@ai-kit.net personally, because no automated tool handles them. A GPC signal is the exception: your browser applies it on every visit with no action needed from you.
Server logs
Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs for the Worker that runs this site. Because a page address can include the gclid and UTM tags from an ad link, those values may show up in these logs. Our own code does not write your name, email, or message to the logs.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Requests are saved in a database hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Only the AI Kit LLC staff who handle audits can read them. Service providers we rely on (Cloudflare for hosting and spam checks, Google for ad measurement, and our email provider for replies) process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
An automated daily job deletes each audit request once it is 12 months old. If you buy an audit, the records we need for the work, taxes, and accounting are kept separately for as long as those purposes require.
Your choices
Email tony@ai-kit.net to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to withdraw marketing consent. We will act on the request and confirm by email.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If we revise this policy, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
